LIM/LIMX 702 Invitation to the Catechism 1 crs.
Elective Course
This course introduces students to the Catechism of the Catholic Church as a resource for faith and prayer. It examines the history, including catechisms in other denominations. It also studies its structure, artwork, spirituality, and relation to other catechetical documents, such as the U.S. Catholic Catechism for Adults.
LIM/LIMX 703 Introduction to Practical Theology 3 crs.
Theological Core Course
NURS G703 Theories in Health Care Systems 3 crs. This course provides an introduction to theories underlying the practice of nursing leadership and management in health care systems. The role of theory is explored related to the development of nursing knowledge and nursing practice. Emphasis is placed on developing skills to critically examine theories of leadership and health care management.
MUEN M700 – 706 Major Ensemble 1 cr. hr.
Loyola Symphony Orchestra, Loyola Chamber Orchestra, University Band, University Chorale, University Chorus, Jazz Band I, Jazz Workshop Band, Jazz Training Ensemble, and Wind Ensemble. These courses involve regular rehearsals and performances in groups of various sizes and constitutions. Course may be repeated for credit. Open to non-music students by audition only.

CNSL A702 Research and Statistical Methods in Counseling 3 crs.
This course examines research designs and concepts commonly used in the social and behavioral sciences. The course also covers parametric statistics related to univariate and bivariate statistics; students will learn to calculate these statistics both by hand and through SPSS and interpret the results.

CRIM A700 Theories of Criminal Behavior 3 crs.
This course offers an intensive overview of the major paradigms and respective etiological theories of crime used in criminology and criminal justice. Classical and contemporary theories are reviewed including integrated theories crossing multiple paradigms. Linkages between theories of criminal behavior and current developments in crime control policies are explored.
